As part of the scientific cooperation initiated within the ANEMONE project and continued through ANEMONE PLUS, partners from TÜBİTAK have published a new research article in Marine Pollution Bulletin.

The publication:
“Macrozoobenthic diversity of eutrophication hotspots under anthropogenic pressures in the southern Black Sea: Interactions between environmental factors and community structure”

focuses on the impacts of anthropogenic pressures and eutrophication on macrozoobenthic communities in the southern Black Sea and analyses the relationship between environmental factors and benthic community structure.

The study contributes to:
🔹 better understanding of ecological processes in the Black Sea;
🔹 assessment of marine ecosystem health;
🔹 advancement of modern marine monitoring approaches.

ANEMONE PLUS continues supporting international scientific cooperation and the development of innovative tools for Black Sea ecosystem assessment.
