Within the ANEMONE PLUS project, partners launched the Black Sea Caravan initiative – a series of awareness and outreach activities for Black Sea communities.

Coordinated by project partner Ong Mare Nostrum, the initiative aims to increase public awareness about the environmental status of the Black Sea, modern marine monitoring approaches, and the importance of sustainable marine management.

During the events, participants can:
• explore field monitoring methods;
• learn more about Black Sea biodiversity;
• discover research equipment used in marine studies;
• receive information about modern ecosystem assessment tools.

The Black Sea Caravan is an important component of ANEMONE PLUS communication activities, strengthening cooperation between scientists, authorities, businesses, and citizens.
