ANEMONE PLUS applies advanced technologies to assess the condition of Black Sea marine ecosystems and develop innovative approaches for environmental monitoring.
Project partners use:
• underwater cameras;
• eDNA barcoding;
• passive acoustic monitoring;
• remote sensing;
• machine learning and modelling methods.
One of the key project outputs will be the development of a WebGIS platform integrating tools for biodiversity, pollution, eutrophication, and cumulative impact assessment.
The platform will support:
• environmental data visualisation;
• marine ecosystem analysis;
• evidence-based decision-making;
• accessibility of environmental information for different user groups.
ANEMONE PLUS contributes to strengthening scientific cooperation and promoting modern digital solutions for sustainable marine management in the Black Sea region.
